Finger Paints Special Effects

Currently I'm wearing 4 out of 5 Finger Paints Special Effects. Including; Motley, Asylum, Twisted, and Flecked.

I'm really disappointed with how the pictures turned out. All the colors look mashed together and muted. This is so much prettier in person.

Periwinkle Nails

Since periwinkle is such a big color in fashion this year, I thought I'd join the fun! So, I painted China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le on my nails.

Candace's Nails

My friend Candace had recently painted her nails pink. She wanted something quick so I painted zebra print on her thumb and ring fingers. The colors went great together and design gave her nails an extra pop!

Marilyn Manson Nail Tutorial

This design was inspired by Marilyn Manson. As you may have seen from my coffee mug in our first post, I'm a huge fan. This is something you can do on your nails that is easy and attention grabbing!

Step 1

Apply base coat and let dry. Then apply a base color. I used China Glaze Recycle.

Step 2

Using a black Stripe Rite, paint stripes on all of your nails.

Step 3

Here's the fun part! To apply the picture*, put a layer of top coat onto the nail of your choice. Then, place the picture on your nail and press down until dry.

*The picture was printed on normal computer paper with regular ink.

**It also helps if you bend the picture a little before you apply it.

Step 4

Apply top coat to all of your nails.

Now you're ready to be bombarded with compliments! If anyone asks you how you did it, tell them to check out our blog! :)

Lady Gaga/Valentine's Day Nails

This design was inspired by Lady Gaga and Valentine's Day. First, I painted China Glaze Salsa on my nails. Next, I used a black Stripe Rite for the stripes and a white Stripe Rite to write "Love Game". On my thumbs were white hearts. Finally, I finished it all off with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. Enjoy!
